Zakasia is a small but successful hobby Kennel based in North Wales run by Paula and Mike Randall. Paula has had a life long passion for GSDs purchasing her first pedigree German shepherd back in 1998, her pet name was Asia. A year later Paula got involved with showing and on the turn of the millennium their fist litter was born, Asias litter was sired by Zak and with it came the Kennel name Zakasia. From this litter they retained a dog Commander Worf and a bitch Seven of nine both having successful show careers qualifying for and being placed at Crufts. A year later Mike became more involved and started to train and handle, showing their current bitch Lacey through to her crowning glory of Champion. Since 2002 Mike and Paula have been committee members of the West Cheshire Ringcraft Club, Mike being the Club Secretary/Treasurer and trainer. They are both committed to the breed and hope to continue in the manner they have done, only having a few very carefully planned and researched quality litters, using only top quality males of excellent character and health.
